The NIH estimates that food-borne pathogens cause 76 million illnesses, 128,000 hospitalizations, and 3,000 deaths per year in the United States. Our technology can be used to fight food-borne illnesses and has already proven to eradicate E.Coli from fruits, vegetables, and leafy greens.
